Michael-LoGiudice

Dr. Michael T. LoGiudice, DC

Founder, CEO & Clinical Director
InterState Medical Group - Disc Centers of Salem

For nearly two decades, Dr. Michael T. LoGiudice has dedicated his career to one guiding principle: restore function first, and the body often follows. While pain may be the reason patients seek care, he believes pain is only one part of a much larger story. His mission is to identify and address the underlying causes of dysfunction, helping patients regain movement, independence, and confidence in their bodies.

As the Founder and CEO of InterState Medical Group, Dr. LoGiudice has built one of Oregon’s most comprehensive non-surgical spine and musculoskeletal rehabilitation centers. The clinic integrates advanced chiropractic care with spinal decompression, Class IV laser therapy, shockwave therapy, rehabilitation, regenerative medicine, massage therapy, advanced physiologic technologies, and evidence-informed conservative care—all under one roof. This multidisciplinary model reflects his belief that the best outcomes occur when multiple therapies work together rather than relying on a single treatment approach.

Personal Info

Dr. LoGiudice’s philosophy was shaped long before he entered chiropractic school. Raised in Oregon in a hardworking Italian family, he developed an appreciation for discipline, perseverance, and service. He later served as a Reconnaissance Marine in the United States Marine Corps and continued his military career as an Army National Guard Combat Medic and military instructor. Those experiences reinforced the values that continue to guide his practice today: integrity, accountability, preparation, and the relentless pursuit of excellence.

He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Bridgeport College of Chiropractic and has been continually licensed to practice chiropractic in Oregon since 2007. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to improving his clinical skills and has been certified by two different organizations as a specialist in non-surgical spinal decompression. Over the last 4 years, integration of emerging technologies and rehabilitation strategies that improve patient outcomes has been guiding him through this transformative phase in his career.

Dr. LoGiudice has developed a clinical philosophy centered on one simple idea:

“Movement is our Medicine. Restoring Function is our Mission.”

Rather than asking only, “Where does it hurt?” he asks, “Why has the body lost its ability to function normally?” His evaluations are designed to identify movement dysfunction, biomechanical imbalance, joint restriction, muscular weakness, and other contributing factors that often precede pain. He believes the body frequently whispers before it screams, and that recognizing those early signs provides the greatest opportunity to restore health.

His clinical interests include:

  • Herniated and degenerative disc conditions
  • Non-surgical spinal decompression
  • Auto accident and whiplash rehabilitation
  • Sports injuries
  • Work-related injuries
  • Chronic neck and back pain
  • Knee and extremity rehabilitation
  • Functional movement restoration
  • Conservative management of complex musculoskeletal disorders
  • Veterans health and suicide prevention
  • Where does motivation come from?
  • Depression and Gut Health

Patients appreciate Dr. LoGiudice for combining advanced technology with a hands-on, individualized approach. Every treatment plan is tailored to the person rather than a diagnosis, recognizing that no two patients heal in exactly the same way.

Beyond patient care, Dr. LoGiudice is developing a new Technique System  (stay tuned) — an evolving clinical framework designed to standardize assessment, rehabilitation, outcome measurement, and conservative spine care. He is currently developing and authoring the InterState Medical Group Constitution, a comprehensive philosophy of patient-centered healthcare that emphasizes integrity, accountability, clinical excellence, continuous learning, and the responsible use of evidence-informed medicine. He also has the aspiration of turning his clinical research and military experience into a riveting book. You heard it here first.

His long-term vision extends beyond the walls of the clinic. Through education, research, mentorship, public speaking, and future professional training programs, he hopes to advance conservative musculoskeletal care while helping patients and healthcare providers better understand the importance of movement, function, and lifelong health.

When he’s not caring for patients, Dr. LoGiudice enjoys spending time with his family, exploring the Pacific Northwest, staying physically active, traveling, SCUBA diving and continuing his lifelong pursuit of learning. He believes every day presents an opportunity to become a better physician, a better leader, and a better servant to his community.

At InterState Medical Group, Dr. LoGiudice’s goal is not simply to help patients feel better today—it is to help them preserve their freedom, maintain their independence, protect their dignity, and continue living the life they were created to enjoy.

I came to this clinic after a car accident, and from my very first visit, Dr. Michael helped me with my neck and back pain. I also saw Dr. Emilia and received a TPI treatment, which provided immediate relief. I started feeling much better within the first week.

I would like to thank both doctors for their professionalism, care, and excellent treatment. I also want to mention that the entire staff is very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help.

I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for quality care and effective treatment.

I was struggling with severe back pain that had taken away from work. They were able to get me in same day. The office and staff are phenomenal. The salt room was amazing. The doctor was kind, informative, and thorough. I left feeling so much better and was able to walk and sit comfortably immediately. The best chiropractor I've seen hands down.

I'd always been afraid to visit a chiropractor's office, but I'm so glad I did because I've felt so much better since my visit. Dr. Michael and Dr. Cohn have helped me feel so much better. I have less and less pain with each visit. I love getting regular adjustments, and even the TPI injections have helped me tremendously in managing my muscle pain. The massages are a really nice and relaxing bonus; the staff knows what they're doing and is always super friendly and helpful. A 10/10 experience!

Dr. Michael is absolutely amazing! He really knows his stuff. My husband wasted years of time and money on other chiropractors who did very little to relieve his pain. We were becoming concerned for his future and his ability to run his business. After just 2 visits he feels like new. Dr. Michael is truly a blessing from God!

I’m really disappointed to write this because I wanted to love this place and I see a lot of great reviews, but I went in for my first visit and I was highly disappointed and felt like I wasn’t even taken care of and nothing was done to help my spine decompress, even though that was part of what I was paying for. I don’t know if it was because I did a special and it wasn’t very much or what but I don’t feel like I was taken care of, and I wouldn’t say that it was worth the money or any at that. The provider took me back, spoke to me for a few minutes give me a few handouts that I could easily print off the Internet .. and then hooked me up to a machine that only hurt my head, didn’t do anything for my spine she left the room for the first few minutes and when she came and I told her I don’t feel like it’s working, And it was hurting my head and she kept going and then after five or 10 minutes, came back again, walked me out and it was done. Unfortunately, I don’t recommend this place
